In the US people talk about ‘Wall Street’ and ‘Main Street’. We see that divide as artificial and many of our team have worked across sectors in their careers and are able to combine their knowledge from the financial world with the experience from manufacturing, retail and telecoms for the benefits of clients. Our founder Chris Woodman started his career in the Ford Body and Assembly plant in Halewood and the Tractor Plant in Basildon before working for Cleanaway in the waste management industry. He later joined the Executive Management Team at COLT Telecom as Group HRD. Our associates have worked for organisations including Marks and Spencer, Centrica, Unisys, Novartis. South West Trains and the London Docklands Development Corporation.
Our work with corporates has included support, post-acquisition in the critical communications sector, introducing new compensation plans to a pharmaceutical marketing company and introducing improved performance management processes to an operational consulting firm.
An investment organisation in the Middle East needed the CEO of one of the businesses in which they had invested to have a development plan, while he continued to lead and manage the business. We undertook a 360 degree feedback process, used the Hogan Personality Suite and spent time with the CEO to enable a development plan to be formulated. The CEO received the feedback on his current and past performance and given support and coaching to support his future challenges as a leader of a business undergoing transformation.
